Jason has worked in the Design field , getting his start in web design with a small marketing agency that built an online catalog for Lotus software. As the profession evolved, so did Jason. Today his work spans visual design and front-end, working principaly with responsive web design (RWD). While working for Brilliant Agent and Responsive Webmasters, his projects were built with Bootstrap, and Scss/Sass CSS preprocessors. Jason also built this responsive WordPress theme site with underscores and bootstrap, as well as this one-pager for the Tampa Bay Times client: Grow Financial. Jason also has a keen interest in trending developments such as the new CSS Grid Layout and popular front end Speakers such as Chris Coyier, Brad Frost on Atomic Design and Rachel Andrew. Jason's current projects are coded on the Cloud9 workspace using Sass and Svn for version control.

Jason studied Fine Arts at the Lake Placid School of Fine Arts, a small independent art school. He then studied in Boston with a transfer to the Art Institute of Boston, a portfolio school, later incorporated into Lesley University. There he acquired a professional diploma in Graphic Design and Illustration. Jason also picked up additional course work after graduation, again at AIB and The Massachusetts College of Art.
Jason has also been an enthusiastic life-long learner, attending dozens of professional conferences and seminars. His current favorite is the Front-end Design Conference held in Saint Petersburg Florida, where he now resides.
UX Protoyping with Axure for library components, interactions, and collaboration with developers. XD prototyping collaborating with UX team and project managers. Jason also contributed to new application features, fixes and improvement’s, within menu systems, user data display, and screen flow.
Solved user experience design problems, rendering user workflows into Adobe XD, wireframes and prototypes for web based online tutoring applications, meeting web accessibility guidelines and requirements.
Contract Web Designer and Content Developer for the AAPL, (physicainleaders.org), developing and maintaining the client website while adding new content and features from within the Sitefinity CMS.
Multiple contracts - Contract UI/Web Designer for True Real Estate Inc., and Brilliant Agent on sites BrilliantAgent.com, ResponsiveWebmasters.com, TrueSarasota.com, Florida Buyer Rebates, developing HTML5, Sass complied CSS3 RWD templates on a modified bootstrap framework, using the Cloud9/Zend Platform and SVN version control. Administered client sites in a custom CMS environment and occasionaly designed print sales collateral.
Contract Digital Designer within the Creative Marketing department. Produced daily content updates and site section modifications and additions on TampaBay.com published within the HP Autonomy CMS. Designed and coded one page promotional site for TBT client, Grow Financial. Created Digital Advertising pieces and Email Marketing .
Multiple contracts - CSS developement, high fidelity protoypes and graphic assets for web application GUI, layout and screen flow, working collaboratively with Verizon developers.
Contract UI/Web Designer on company websites and internal business applications for prescription management services, working within the IT department. Created HTML templates, graphics and websites for the company and its internal clients.
Contract Visual Designer for Kiosk touch screen applications, working collaboratively with developers in the H-E-B, POS and Innovative group.
Staff Web Designer provided web design services for the web portal team, including the redesign of RagingBull.com, and design support for Futuresource.com, and Quote.com. working wiht Web Portal Director, usability specialist, and in-house developers.
Designed UI for an internal business application to administer business users on the company intranet site. Collaborated with developers to integrate work into JSP with MS Visual SourceSafe for version control.
Primary HTML developer for the IBM client L. L. Bean website, collaborated with the Art Director and JSP developers IBM innovation development team,.
